Tobe's Great Escape Coming Soon

If you have previously enjoyed Tobe's Hookshot Escape and Tobe Vertical Adventure, you will be happy to know that Tobe's Great Escape is soon to be released on the coming Wednesday, 10th August.

Much like Tobe's Hookshot Escape, Great Escape is more of an arcadey experience, an endless platformer where you keep going on and on for a better score, and it will be free to play on Mochi (and all flash portal in a couple of weeks later).

At the mean time, the expansion of Hookshot Escape for windows phone 7 is almost done, so if you have yet to purchase the game, now is the time, as we will be increasing the price of the game to $1.99 USD.

Tobe's Adventures begins!

Tobe's Hookshot Escape is finally live, and you can try it on Newgrounds, Kongregate or here, on our very own site. If you haven't heard, Tobe's Hookshot Escape is an endless platformer, one of those sweet addictive experience, where you climb as high as you can, fighting for a better score. You know the drill.

The game is also available on Windows Phone 7, which should be released some time next week. We'll be having a release promotion, selling the game at $0.99 for a limited time. Plus, additional content, not found in the original flash version will be added. But more on that later.

Hookshot Escape is first of the 3 Tobe's games we're releasing, with Tobe's Vertical Adventure coming to Steam and Gamersgate 12 June (tentative release date). If you like to learn more about the games, definitely check out Tobe's Vertical Adventure instruction manual. 

There's also Tobe's Great Escape, coming slightly after, probably some time in mid June on flash. I hope you guys will enjoy the game, and we can then put Tobe on more adventures (and worse situations)!

Tobe's Announcements

Tobe's Vertical Adventure PC Port has been in the work. So the first announcement is that it's about done, and we are looking to release the game in 2 months time, around April, 2011.

The second announcement is that we've also taken the time to develop a spin off series, namely Tobe's Hookshot Escape and Tobe's Great Escape. Both games are developed in flash, and will be free for play. Quite honestly, we've got pretty awesome feedback from players, so we're considering bringing the game to mobile. We'll be revealing more about the gameplay soon, but here's the game logo to keep the speculation going.

The last announcement is a sad one though, as we will soon be closing down Tobe's Official Website. We will have a full section for Tobe though, under Secret Base so that the news and downloadables are more consolidate, and easier for players to find.
